1975
Trevor Bailey, where it all began. 1975 at the age of 17 was my introduction into the world of greenhouses. This ‘Tropical’ Aluminium greenhouse was state of the art back in the day. Only horticultural glass was used in commercial and domestic greenhouses alike. My how things have changed. Now you have a plethora of choice

Father & Son, Trevor & Ben Bailey and Max the Westie proudly stood by their handmade play shed. Even at the young age of 4, Ben was keen to learn the invaluable, practical skills from his dad.
2022
Over 5000 greenhouses and 47 years later… Father, Son, Daughter and Poppy the Westie stood proudly having just completed a 45ft Victorian greenhouse for a community project to Little Plumstead, Norwich.

What types of greenhouses do you offer?
We supply a wide range of greenhouses, including compact starter models, budget-friendly options, large aluminium or timber designs, and bespoke builds. While primarily for domestic garden use, our greenhouses are also suitable for display areas for garden centres, outdoor spaces, and dining areas for venues. We also offer a full range of accessories to complete your growing space.
Do you offer advice for first-time greenhouse owners?
Yes, we’d love to help you start your greenhouse gardening journey! From selecting the right greenhouse and position in the garden, to choosing essential accessories and installation options, we provide honest, non-sales-driven, tailored advice every step of the way.
Do you deliver greenhouses across the UK?
Yes! While our family-run business is based in East Anglia, we supply and deliver greenhouses nationwide via our manufacturers, trusted delivery partners, and sometimes ourselves. Whether you’re in London, Scotland, or Cornwall, we can get your greenhouse to your garden safely and efficiently.
Why should my greenhouse be delivered to you?
Having your greenhouse delivered to us first saves you handling the delivery and needing dry, secure storage. We unpack everything, check for damage or missing parts and consolidate packaging for your recycling.
We also pre-assemble your greenhouse in our workshop, constructing the gable ends, sides, doors and vents so it arrives partly assembled. Working flexibly in the evenings, at weekends or in poor weather results in a faster, smoother on-site installation. This approach is rare in the UK and is what sets the Greenhouse Pro service apart.
Can you install my greenhouse?
Absolutely. We offer professional installation services for all greenhouses that we supply within the East Anglian area, with the possibility of installation further afield depending on the specifications. We’ve successfully installed in locations as far afield as Scotland, London, and Cornwall.
What is the lead time for delivery and installation?
Lead times vary depending on the manufacturer, size, and type of greenhouse. We provide a clear estimate at the time of order and keep you updated throughout the process. As a general guide, 6–8 weeks is typical for most of the year, although some orders can take 12–14 weeks.
What type of base do you recommend?
We highly recommend either a solid slab/concrete base or an outline footing. It’s important that your greenhouse sits level and square so it can be securely fastened to the base. Please note that quoted greenhouse sizes are often nominal, meaning they may be slightly larger than, for example, 6ft x 8ft. Do you offer watering systems?
Yes, we supply Harvst WaterMate smart irrigation systems and are proud to work closely with this small business. Both the Mini and Pro models allow automated, flexible watering via a simple app, with solar or mains power options. They help your plants thrive while saving you time and effort, even when you’re away.
Do you only work with UK manufacturers?
No, we work with many UK and European greenhouse manufacturers. This allows us to offer a wide variety of high-quality greenhouses to suit every space, style, and budget.
