A Gigantic Addition at Beeston Garden Centre
Location: Beeston Garden Centre & Farm Shop Ltd, North Walsham Rd, Norwich NR12 7BY
Completed: October 2024.
In summer 2024, Beeston Garden Centre & Farm Shop approached us looking to expand their retail footprint with a striking new greenhouse. They needed a structure that would not only display plants and products beautifully, but also sit seamlessly with their upcoming modern developments.
After site surveys and discussions, we concluded that a sleek, single‑span greenhouse – rather than a typical multi-span structure commonly seen at garden centres – would best suit the space and give an uninterrupted space for the client’s vision.
Model: Janssens Gigant 6m x 15m
Once the scope was finalised, we decided a firsthand factory visit was essential. So we flew to Belgium to tour Janssens’ state‑of‑the‑art factory and showroom—where 78 years of precision craftsmanship confirmed we’d chosen the perfect partner for this unique project.
Being in the trade, the client’s team expertly handled the groundwork—preparing foundations, drainage, electrical and water connections, precisely to our specifications.
In just one week, we assembled the Gigant’s impressive frame and meticulously installed every component—carefully sliding the over 3 m‑long glass roof panes into place! Over the next few days, we completed the finishing touches, making it ready for them to move in!
The new Janssens Gigant now stands proud, ready to showcase the ever‑changing seasonal displays—from festive Christmas trees to vibrant summer blooms and everything in between.
